Conversation with eTVnet people

Spoke to the stressed out people at eTVnet. No XML interface yet for the new site, but they promised to work on one and keep me in the loop.  They still seem to be in crisis mode, so I wouldn't expect the interface to be their very top priority.  But judging by the fact how quickly my phone call was returned (I called support who took my number promising a callback in 24hrs and than I got the call back from their higher-up in about 5 minutes) - I would say that they care for the interface and general plugin support.

The only other tidbit I picked up, is that they were forced off the old servers, which would explain the HORRIBLE and RUSHED move to the new servers.

Thanks for the update, Igor. The only way we watch ETVNet content is via MCE.

I even began working on my own plugin until yours came along and I realized how much farther ahead you were. I really hope they can fix the interface soon, so people can enjoy the site again via MCE; and your great effort is not wasted!

Keep us posted!

Ilya

It seems that the forums at etvnet.com are up. I was wondering if they got back to you about the API for the new site.

Hi Igor, have you received an APIs from etvnet people yet ? How would you estimate time you need to update your plugin ?

Thank you.

Nope, nothing yet.

Do you know why they were forced to leave the old servers and, in any case, couldn't install the old code on the new servers?
